Hello Rizki,
We’re updating our settings to give you even more control over saved
history and personalized recommendations across Google Search services,
including Search, Maps, Shopping, Hotels, Flights, Translate, and News.
You’ll see this change in your Google Account in the next few days.
What’s changing
Previously, saving history and personalization were managed by Web & App
Activity. Going forward, we're introducing two new settings to help you
better tailor your experience: Search Services History and Personalized
Recommendations. These settings let you revisit your past searches and
decide if you want your experience to be personalized. You can turn these
settings on or off at any time. As people increasingly search in new ways,
like searching a photo with Lens, Search Services History now includes
media from your interactions, which you can stop saving at any time.
How this affects your account
New history and personalization settings: These new settings will reflect
your most recent choices for Web & App Activity and Search Personalization
settings. If these are currently on, these new settings will stay on. If
they’re off, the new settings will be off. After the transition, Web & App
Activity and Search services settings will be separate, and changes to one
won’t affect the other.
Auto-delete: Your prior choice from Web & App Activity for how long your
history is saved will also apply to Search Services History. As always, you
can change how long history is saved, choose an auto-delete period, and
review or delete history manually at any time.
Your media is saved when Search Services History is on: Saved media
includes your images, files, audio and video from your interactions with
Search services to help improve your experience. For example, this lets you
revisit your past visual searches with Lens or continue a Search Live
conversation about a song you heard. To support these types of interactive
product experiences, Google will now save your media to your Search
Services History, applying robust privacy and security protections. Like
your Search Services History, your saved media is also used to develop and
improve Google services and technologies, including AI models and safety
measures. With this transition, if your Web & App Activity setting is
currently turned on, this new Save Media subsetting will also be turned on
along with your Search Services History. You can turn off your

Subject: Updates to how privacy settings work on Play
Dari: Google Play <googleplay-noreply@google.com>
Isi Pesan:
Hello Rizki,
We’ve updated settings that manage personalization and activity history on
Play. You’ll have dedicated controls for personalization on Play and for
saving activity in your Google Account’s Play History, and these settings
will be easily accessible in the Google Play menu.
In the past, personalization and history on Play were managed by Web & App
Activity (WAA) settings in your Google Account. Going forward, WAA will no
longer control Play personalization and Play History. Instead, you’ll be
able to manage those settings directly on Play, and you’ll see this change
in your account in the next few days. Learn more about Play personalization
and Play History
<http://support.google.com/googleplay?p=personalize_play_migration>
When the transition happens for your account, your Play settings will be
based on the most recent choice you made in WAA, so your experience will
stay the same. If you have WAA turned on during the transition, which is
happening over the next few days, then your Play personalization and Play
History settings will be on, and if WAA is off, then Play personalization
and Play History will be off. As before, you’ll be able to choose how long
your activity is saved in your Play History and if you want to delete it
from Play History manually or automatically.
After the transition is complete, WAA and Play settings will be separate,
and changes to one will no longer affect the other. You can view and change
your Play privacy settings in Personalization in Play
<https://myactivity.google.com/product/google_play/personalization> at any
time. Learn more about the transition and how it affects your settings

Subject: Upcoming changes to your settings
Dari: Google Play <googleplay-noreply@google.com>
Isi Pesan:
Hi Rizki,
We're piloting changes to the Google Play purchase verification setting to
give you new controls over your purchase experience.
Play purchase verification helps prevent unauthorized purchases on your
device. Currently, for all payment methods (other than pay at convenience
stores or pay with virtual account bank transfers), you can choose to
require Play purchase verification always, every 30 minutes, or never.
However, some payment methods available in Indonesia include their own,
separate verification process. For those payment methods, you may have to
complete verification twice if you also have Play verification turned on
(e.g., set as "always" or "every 30 days").
Soon, this setting will change so that you can choose whether to require
Play verification for payment methods that already include a separate
verification process. In particular, this change will affect payments made
using QRIS.
*Important:* This update may affect settings you have previously chosen. To
check your current settings in the Google Play app, tap the profile icon at
the top right > Settings > Purchase verification (some users may
see "Purchase requirement").
This update will impact your current setting choice as described below. You
can always choose to change this setting selection, including requiring
Play verification for all purchases, once these updates are available.
...
Current setting selection
If you've chosen to require Play verification "Always" or "Every 30
minutes" and you're 18 or older
*Example 1:* If you pay with QRIS, you need to complete Play verification,
through biometrics or your Google Account password.
*Example 2:* If you pay with a gift card, you need to complete Play
verification through biometrics or your Google Account password.
New setting selection (coming soon)
You'll no longer complete Play verification for payment methods that
include a separate verification process, specifically QRIS.
*Example 1:* If you pay with QRIS, you'll only need to complete QRIS
verification.
*Example 2:* If you pay with a gift card, you'll continue to complete Play
verification.
Current setting selection
If you've chosen to require Play verification “Always” or “Every 30
minutes” and you're under 18
New setting selection (coming soon)
You'll continue to be required to complete Play verification for all
purchases.
Current setting selection
If you've chosen to require Play verification “Never”
New setting selection (coming soon)
You'll continue to make purchases without Play verification.
...
We'll notify you soon when these changes take effect.
